We are sad to say that we have chosen to sell Kervigen, after fifteen glorious years.
We first set eyes on Kervigen on a dull damp day in late 2009, but spotted the potential, and within a few weeks had acquired it from the Jolec family, who later told us that they and their ancestors had been there for 500 years.
We set about a renovation, which was at times daunting, always challenging, but ultimately deeply rewarding. We feel that our efforts did the old house proud, and our family and many guest visitors seem to have agreed.
All good things must pass, and with our advancing years, the time was right. We are sure that with a new owner - originally from the area - Kervigen will be in good hands.
Our final week produced wall-to-wall sunshine, and amidst the chaos of our departure we managed to find time to reflect on the glories of the region, the variety of the coast and the beauty of the Baie.
Au revoir, Kervigen - and thanks for all the fish.
